Juventus Could Part Ways with Allegri Before Season’s End

Multiple sources in Italy report that Juventus may dismiss Massimiliano Allegri before the season concludes, possibly even today. The club’s dissatisfaction with Allegri’s conduct during and after the recent match against Atalanta has prompted this potential decision, alongside plans to replace him at the season’s end.

Sky Sport Italia and journalist Fabrizio Romano indicate that the Serie A club is considering an imminent termination of Allegri’s tenure. This comes after Allegri’s public outbursts aimed at club officials and a Tuttosport editor, as reported by Football Italia this morning.

Sky Sport’s Giovanni Guardalà expressed uncertainty over whether Allegri will manage the upcoming Serie A game against Bologna on Monday. His future with the team appears increasingly precarious.

Interestingly, Thiago Motta, the current coach of Bologna, is rumored to be the front-runner to succeed Allegri at Juventus next season. Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has reportedly been in discussions with Motta’s representatives for some time, intending to make a coaching change after the season. However, Allegri’s recent behavior during the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta might accelerate this timeline.

Despite the turmoil, Juventus has secured a top-five finish in Serie A, guaranteeing their spot in the Champions League next season. This achievement ensures a degree of stability for the club, even as they contemplate a significant change in leadership.
